Ancient fish enliven the Republic of Indonesia Marine World Expo

 Ancient fish species coelacanth (Latimeria menadoensis) known as the King of the Sea Fish mascot in National Pavilion Indonesia Expo 2012 Yeosu Korea. This is an international exhibition of marine life and coastal livelihoods.

Fish are known to have lived in ancient times, that is 400 million years ago was found near the coast Malalayang, Manado, North Sulawesi.

King of the Sea Fish was also found in some waters of the world. Among other waters Comoro, Madagascar, Tanzania and South Africa.
Although found in some of the world's waters, the Sea King Fish Indonesia is a unique species, the brown skin color, different kind of fish in other waters. Generally, these types of fish color bluish.

King of the Sea fish habitat in the deep sea 700 meters below the sea. But sometimes these fish also appeared at a depth of 200 meters.

Coelacanth is brought into Indonesia in the expo pavilion logo was given in accordance with the theme of the expo: Wonderful Indonesia: Sustaining Tropical Biodiversity

"So these ancient fish in accordance with the spirit of the theme of the expo, which is something that is still up to date," he explained.

Physical ancient fish had previously been thought to be extinct, because it was not found again in 80 years in the sea, to be found in the waters of Comoro, Madagascar, Tanzania and South Africa.

Special Expo was held in the city of Port Yeosun South Korea for three months, from May 12 until August 12, 2012. The exhibition also showcases the technology, fishery and marine technology cooperation Indonesia.
